Welcome to PadelTactico. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your personal data is handled securely and transparently. This Privacy Policy explains how PadelTactico (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information.
By using PadelTactico, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Data Storage & Ownership (iCloud Sync)
PadelTactico is designed with privacy at its core. Your match statistics, personal profile, and settings are stored locally on your device and synced securely using Apple’s iCloud services (CloudKit).
- We do not have access to your personal match data.
- All match data, including court heatmaps and scores, is stored in your private iCloud database.
- We do not store your personal padel data on our own external servers, nor do we sell it to third parties.
2. Apple Health (HealthKit) Integration
PadelTactico integrates with Apple Health (HealthKit) to provide advanced telemetry during your matches.
- What we collect: If you grant permission, the App reads your heart rate and active energy to generate insights, and writes your padel matches as official workouts in Apple Health.
- How it is used: This data is strictly used within the App to display your live heart rate, calculate your physical workload, and correlate cardiovascular stress with your tactical performance.
- Data Protection: HealthKit data is not transmitted to us, nor is it used for advertising or marketing purposes. You can revoke HealthKit access at any time via the iOS Health app or device Settings.
3. Location Services
PadelTactico uses Location Services (CoreLocation) to enhance your match analytics.
- When we use it: Location tracking is only active in the background while an active match is being recorded. It stops entirely as soon as the match ends or is paused.
- Why we use it: We use your location to calculate distance covered, generate court positioning heatmaps, and identify the padel club where you are playing.
- Data Protection: Location data is stored locally and in your private iCloud. We do not track your location outside of active matches.
4. Third-Party Services
To provide the best possible experience, PadelTactico utilizes selected third-party services:
A. Firebase Crashlytics We use Firebase Crashlytics to monitor app stability and fix bugs. If the App crashes, anonymous diagnostic data (such as device model, OS version, and the line of code that failed) is sent to us. This data contains no personally identifiable information and is used exclusively to improve the App.
B. Google AdMob & Tracking (Free Tier) For users on the Free tier, we use Google AdMob to display advertisements.
- App Tracking Transparency (ATT): We will explicitly ask for your permission before tracking your activity across other companies’ apps and websites for personalized advertising.
- If you grant permission, AdMob may use device identifiers (like the IDFA) to deliver personalized padel-related advertisements.
- If you opt out, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalized. Subscribing to the Pro or Elite tier completely removes all advertisements and tracking.
C. RevenueCat / Apple StoreKit
In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed entirely and securely by Apple. We do not have access to your credit card or payment information.
5. Data Deletion
Because your match and profile data is stored in your private iCloud and on your local device, you have full control over your data.
- You can delete individual matches directly within the App.
- If you delete the App and its iCloud data via your iOS Settings, all associated personal data is permanently erased.
6. Children’s Privacy
PadelTactico does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete this data from our servers immediately.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Last Updated” date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
